2025/26 Vitalii Mykolenko

But LB as along with RB the most obvious position. With flair players like Jack & Ndiaye they need support to get the very very best out of them and the team collectively.
I agree, but to be fair, there were a couple of occasions against Forest when Mykolenko had run into space on the wing, and the passes to him were overhit, leaving him no chance of reaching them 🤷‍♂️

He is so left footed that his dribble relies on a downhill drive with no deviation. If I was Moyes next off-season, I would make sure Myko only touches the ball with his right foot. He will be too much of a liability down the road if he never develops it. It makes him entirely too predictable.

It's obviously not a real comparison for skill, in a thousand lifetimes, but Baines was incredibly one footed too and he turned out fine like. It's all down to how you use it - Myko is just a bit meh with the ball, McNeil is hilarious with the "fake cross, push to the left, fake cross, push to the left, fake cross, push to the left, cross" move he does as he's also incredibly left footed, as another example.
