Records really are my thing G ( Freds getting into them too).
I never buy brand new records. I much prefer to buy 2nd hand old ones .
The pressings and sound quality are much better and generally they are far cheaper.
However you have to check for condition. Anything even with a tiny scratch is rejected. If it is dirty , that's not a problem, I clean all my records anyway.
My 16 year old nephew has just got into "vinyl" as the hipsters call it ( personally I thought vinyl was some sort of sexual fetish but you live and learn

)and I've had great fun shopping record stores and putting together an extra Xmas present of about 15 LPs for him.
Remarkably he's into the Beatles and Jazz ( and he's never even browsed my record collection!)
