New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

What? Sanhills is about a 10 minute walk from the stadium and town is the same distance from hd stadium then goodison was from sandhills.

Hd stadium is less then 30 min walk from town. Goodison was miles away from anything.

You were just used to getting to goodison is all. Either that or you lived very close to goodison

My usual travel home time from GP was an hour.

Yesterday I was home after 90 mins in time to see Tott / Fulh second half and that include a stop off at the chippy.

It was much, much easier to get to and from.

The club and LCC have really dropped a boll*ck with the lacklustre transportation options. It’s horrific to get to and from.

Got a taxi yesterday and had to be dropped off a 15 minute walk away - went in absolutely baltic and soaking.

Downstairs in the concourse was FREEZING. Never felt anything like it

Its not down to LCC or Everton to do the transports, it all falls onto the Kopite Rotheram.

Completely agree with you mate.

Fans wanting to be exploited is like Turkey's voting for Christmas, and glorying in a stadium becoming a 'facility' for all forms of entertainment is beyond bizarre for a football fan.

The club's gone if we have a majority who think that away. I dont there is that majority though.
You only need to see the food menu’s to see how much has changed, and how the fanbase is changing.

Same as a few in here, when the renewal email arrives. I'll be seriously thinking if I want to renew or not. It isn't the same anymore, chore getting to the stadium and back. At goodison, even when we were woeful it was ye, whatever form we're in, whatever the price, I'm renewing. Whereas now, I just can't be arsed. Considered renewing and then put on resale every week, I'd probably get moaned at for that even though I'm not making money out of it.
See what happens anyway. Renewals are just around the corner now.
I'm seriously considering not renewing. My father is old now, I have my own life-limiting health issues, have to pay £20 to park 15 minutes away, the traffic when trying to get away is horrendous.
We also must be the biggest team to have not won anything in a significant body of fan's lifetimes, we're a non-London Fulham- a "northern" football experience, and it's dull, and getting more and more sanitised, aimed at day trippers. May as well save my money, and going the match becomes a special, occasional experience, get a taxi, have a drink- the majority of the two decades of holding a season ticket, I've endured not enjoyed.

*sorry for the rant, fellow blues*

I think there will be a lot of people who step back this season. The promise of a new stadium has no doubt kept people holding season tickets who otherwise might have given them up.

I know a lot of people think people should stop complaining about issues with accessibility to the new ground, but I definitely envisage a scenario where our attendances drop if that and the football doesn't improve.
