I know it’s been discussed over and over again, just seen the plans for Birmingham City’s 62k new stadium. Not a fan of the chimneys but you’ve got to admire their ambition to build a stadium of that stature. Yet our owners at the time settled on 52k.

I think the most frustrating thing about it all is that the Mayor of Birmingham has dedicated £400m to improve the transport links to the area around the ground. This has not even passed planning yet and they're being proactive and getting it all in the book. Steve the red didn't give us anything tangible because he "couldn't be entirely sure it was ever going to get built" even when we was in the process of building it.

I know its nothing to do with LCR the train into Loverpol.was an absolute nightmare. It was at capacity before it even got through Widnes, meaning that it didnt stop until Lime Street. Bypassing Hunts Cross and any opportunity to get onto the Merseyrail. Its like Northern Rail had no idea that it was Saturday, or Christmas, or that a game was going on so decided that 2 carriages was more than enough.

Now the novelty has worn off, don't know whether it's because we're crap, it's a ball ache to get to n from n my seat is nowhere near what I had at goodison or what but I'm not really looking forward to going like I used to

Same. Wont be renewing. It's obviously a boss stadium but the matchday experience isn't as pleasant as it was for me. Nightmare to get to, takes forever to get in, joke getting served.

Geordies in the exec boxes behind the family stand tonight block 127, standing there drinking out of wine glasses - which they decanted into coffee cups when challenged - wildly celebrating their goals and causing murder with fans, all of which had kids with them. Stewards stood there watching. Modern football in the hospitality age. Sickening really.

City had the same issue with Leeds yesterday. The clubs don't care so long as someone buys the seats, and we've been mighty struggling with selling them this season.

Same as a few in here, when the renewal email arrives. I'll be seriously thinking if I want to renew or not. It isn't the same anymore, chore getting to the stadium and back. At goodison, even when we were woeful it was ye, whatever form we're in, whatever the price, I'm renewing. Whereas now, I just can't be arsed. Considered renewing and then put on resale every week, I'd probably get moaned at for that even though I'm not making money out of it.
See what happens anyway. Renewals are just around the corner now.

Second half of the season, if all the heavy handed stewarding, wild west ticketing situation and transport issues aren't considerably stamped out/dealt with/improved, then there'll be pushback.

I’m the same as a few people but in a way I’m trapped because of my kids.
If it was just me, based on my apathy towards modern football, I’d consider giving it up.
But at the kids ages, all I ever wanted was a season ticket, and despite all what Everton have done to them, they still love going the match.

I gave up when Barry’s goal was ruled out and we left. And yet I’m the one feeling lousy when we’re walking past the coaches on Regent Road.

Eh? Barry does not look ok. He looks way out of his depth. No goals and we're into December. You could put me up front and I couldn't do worse in terms of goals - and I don't cost €30m. We've spent €40m on Dibling who the manager barely gives the time of day to. We've spent €15m on Alcaraz who he barely recognises. He couldn't spell Adam Aznou's name. That's another €9m. So, that's about €95m spent for almost no return whatsoever.

If you still insist despite this that they haven't got much wrong and these players are actually worth that outlay, you therefore have to say we have the wrong manager - because he's either not using them or getting the best out of them.

I'm the same, my son got his first one this season, but it's just not the same. Don't know whether I'm overreacting a bit cos of yesterday and I wasn't feeling particularly great but it doesn't feel like Everton to me at all

We are the only fan base that could look at someone like Barry with no goals in December and say that's an OK signing. Other clubs would be contemplating getting rid in January.

Dave. Which 2 sides do you reckon are in the battle for control? I just assumed TFG gave their underlings the path to be followed. Who is batting for the fans here to rid us of some of the crap changes that have taken place?

There's not a lot they can do over transport, given where the ground is. Surrounded by water and only one road. Yes we need a station between Moorfields and Sandhills (more of a priority than the bloody Baltic one) but you've still got the capacity issues with Merseyrail and it'd still take years to get built. You can get the bus but you'll be stuck in traffic for ages from town. You can walk but it's less appealing in winter when it's freezing (and/or raining).

Once more bars and hospitality gets built on the dock road it'll encourage fans to head towards the ground earlier. After the game though fans just want to get away, especially with later kick offs and that leads to the mass exodus even before the end of the game.
