Should never have gone in the first place.

We signed Merlin to replace him, who quite honestly, has gone bugger all apart from warm the treatment table and get a serious hair cut.

It has been mate, and you know it.
Alot of us didn't want it at the start, but saw pretty quickly the benefit of it.
But you have been the only advocate in keeping to that stance.
Which i am not questioning you on.

It's just that now alot of people will be creeping out saying it shouldn't have been done, when they were all for it in the first place.

No other posters have backed me you just fail to see it - Did DM ever think of injuries or the up & coming Afcon ?....... answer No plus I think we only missed Gana at OT - playing with ten men for 80 minutes took its toll yesterday IMO...

True - but in training he would have had class players around him - but he is staying at Preston to get them a championship play off .... quote off DM ....

I think next summer Moyes (if still in the seat) will have no choice but to use Armstrong, Dibling and Anzou. Thats simply because there are so many areas of the squad to improve. Also, he'll have to go after quality to take the team up a notch so wont be too many signings.

The athletic and i think the I-paper said Moyes was chasing Dibling as priority and was personally wanting it pushed through.

Have you heard any whispers on why Dibling and Aznou havent been used? Is Moyes making excuses or have they not delivered in training so far?

We need these and Armstrong next season to be playing games - to save money on signings so what we have can go on quality.

Regards whispers, no. The only thing I was told was that TFG had a meeting with Moyes about why he’s signed players and then not used them. Don’t know any further details but since then Barry has started every game.

You want him here, but you also agree that he wont have been used.

Correct. Which is why it’s clearly better for him to stay on loan. Different manager with different approach to young players then I’d have said stay at Everton. Some people want to look at the situation and completely ignore Moyes’s record!

Is that standard practice for an outfield loaned player, to only be recalled in a transfer window? For the record, I don’t think he’s coming back until end of season, regardless of our threadbare squad.

If there’s any truth to that, it’s not just Moyes needs questioning, but this whole recruitment set up the recently Invisible Angus Kinnear was so proud of.
Always sounded iffy and is beginning to look even more like it too, after Moyes spat his dummy out in the US.

But the recruitment set up wasn't even place for the summer. It was Moyes, a bunch of scouts and a CEO. That's been Moyes recruitment set up for the last 20 odd years.

Moyes. Forget what Kinnear is saying, this is the set up Moyes wanted. Stuff Moyes spouted in the summer is him covering his arse.
