Why? It was violent conduct and deserved a red card. Had one of their players slapped Michael Keane in the face, we would have all been screaming for them to be sent off. The lack of discipline from a senior player is more of a concern, really.

1 red card in 224 appearances for us. Totally out of character.

Ronaldo for Portugal has had 1 red card in 226 appearances slightly less out of character, yet his three match ban is rescinded to one, dependent on future conduct.

I'd appeal it to point out this inequality.
