2025/26 Michael Vincent Keane

This thread honestly makes me feel like I'm going mad.

Watched it back 4 or 5 times and clearly it's Keane who squares up initially, and it's Keane who pushes Gana first. Gana is an idiot to react how he has and is equally responsible, but I don't know why people are trying to only blame Gana.

People act like Keane gets blamed for everything, to me this season it feels more like a lot of people on this forum are willing to perform intense mental gymnastics to avoid blaming him for anything.

I saw Keane grab his arm when Gana was getting off and then pushed him. Then told him to get off the pitch after being sent off (causing further agro).

Gana is a helmet for the whole thing, but Keane escalated it when it could have been stopped.

Gana literally runs over kicking off when keane is pushing his hands down telling him to calm down and gana fronts him. Then keane shouts back and pushes him away.

Keane is standing and gana comes over kicking off i dont see how you can see it any other way. Especially not keane Squaring up to gana.

I think keanes been our best cb and some people cant wait to dive on him for anything. Meanwhile tarks has been poor this season and gets very little grief.

Like i said im not a fan of keane but im not going to give the lad criticism when its not deserved.

Did the pass go to Keane or did it go to a United player? This is blaming Keane for not being where Gueye played the pass.

He's not flat footed, he's expecting Gana to either play the ball to his feet or clear it himself and Gueye did neither.

It's entirely down to Gana's choice of pass not being good enough and nothing to do with Keane. Same with everything that comes after.

Im not having that.

Ganas pass wasnt amazing but the ball is a few feet away from keane and he just stands there looking at it while a United player runs to it and takes a shot.

Gana was right to give keane a telling off. He completely took it too far though
