January Transfer Window 2026

Spent 30 seconds online and found out Fofana hasn’t been rotated out and in fact started every Lyon game until last month when he fractured his ankle and is out for 3-4 months.

Zatmania strikes again.

I think you may want to check who Fofana has been rotated out for and where hes been moved into other positions to accomodate Moreira.

Rotation.

That should take you 29 seconds.

Nymzanimecartoon strikes again.

You posted a half truth, for no reason whatsoever.

Not sure what you mean by "defeat". This is a football forum.

Half truth? This Moreira kid got a grand total of 86 minutes before Fofana got injured.

And you just completely glossing over the fact this player, who we can't even afford in Jan, is dead until March... class transfer suggestion.

I assume you havent seen Moreira play. He has definitely been earmarked to replace Fofana, quick, tricky and a decent shot on him.

Not sure what the imaginary issue would be to keep him out until March. Its a 3month injury and he'd be back end of January.

A perfect storm to bring in a top quality young player, whose team have a replacement.

What's this part got to do with anything? You've never suggested to buy him? Or are you trying to get in early telling us you watched Sporting B.

It's a 3-4 month injury, sustainted end of October, so back start of Feb, or start of March, and then has to get up to speed.

Again, why would we do this.

If the premise of my post was to say that Lyon have a player that is rotating with Fofana (correct) and appears to be performing well (correct) who has similar skillsets to Fofana (correct) then clearly only a clueless buffoon would not see the clarity.

A clueless buffoon wouldnt be able to count 3 months from October 27th.

Perhaps that jiggerypokery goes down well in the Leipzig thread...where nonsensical posts are unopposed.

Edit: this took me 28seconds to find

When you get upset, just log off, otherwise you make yourself look a tit.

He is a very expensive winger, back available at the earliest for our 31st Jan game vs Brighton, but also possibly out for a whole month longer than that, playing in a position we don't really need this season, and, let's not forget, that said he only wants a CL/EL move.

Has anyone else noticed Afonso Moreira coming through and now rotating with Malick Fofana on Lyons left wing?

Could be an opportunity to go back in for Fofana in January to add real pace out wide.

Sell McNeil and bring in Fofana.

If we dont sign Grealish and Ndiaye ends up leaving in the summer for a big fee we'd then have Dibling & Fofana out wide.
Do like idea of replacing mcneil with a winger with pace just dont think fofana will be interested
