Favourite FA Cup game.

Chelsea 2011, thought we were screwed when Lampard scored, then Baines scored in last minute and we won on penalties. Long journey back, but it was worth it, my favourite away day.

Bittersweet the 2012 FA Cup Final loss. The night before a gorgeous lass I'd been mates with for a few months told me she loved me and we had an end of night snog. She wanted to meet up next day and I told her I couldn't as I was going to the pub to watch us v. them. She tipped up at the pub for kick off and watched the whole game with me even though she hated football.

At the final whistle I was gutted and I looked at her and she smiled at me as if everything was going to be alright forever.

I had to move away 6 months later and Everton still haven't been in a cup semi final since, so sod feelings.

Not the game as such but how it was won and the following fallout and domino effect.

Gosling winner at the end of game time and how 90% of the country had somehow gone to auto adverts, so when it cut back all the kopites not in the northwest (where we still had the broadcast live in full) tuned in to nationwide jubilation as they'd been rumbled. Insult to injury, itv had to replay with an apology for a couple of days after including the main 6pm news and we got to go through it all again, with lessons learned and 'we're very sorry' etc. Wonderful salt into the wound. I suspect that was Gosling's football career highlight.

Sticks out because it doesn't happen often. For once it went our way.

This does not compute. The 2012 fa cup final was won by chelsea vs the rs. Ah, the semi final. Did you at least let her take your mind off the pain of it all for the 6 months?

Stockport away 96, they equalised in thd last minute, mass pitch invasion. Then John Ebbrell scored a beauty right from the restart. Bedlam in the away end and then murder outside 5 minutes later.
