minor things that make you fume

Oh it's a well known ballache job. I did it the normal way, but I saw a video where a fella started removing the air duct next to the battery and all sorts of nonsense. Main issue is the fact the have a little box the battery sits in so there's no way to tilt it
Can you alter the box or it's position to futureproof against such problems?

Own a 2015 Ford Escape(Kuga) and the battery lost its cold cranking amerage so I went to replace the battery.
Should be a 10 minutes job, if engineers were told to make basic maintenance easier.

Had to remove the wipers and the cowl to get at the battery bay. Still need to tilt the battery as welded structure still partly blocks the way.
Was someone on meth when they designed that? I've never seen something so convoluted just for a simple battery change.

Tbh was taking the P really, its the sort of helpful suggestion my Mrs often contributes…..

People who buy ridiculous amount of scratch cards at ciggies counter in supermarkets. No offence to anyone on here but people who order Ubereats and deliveroo, out of pure laziness. I know people who’re live a few minutes from a supermarket or chippy and still use ubereats and deliveroo. Just pure laziness.
I recently saw a Ubereats driver put a coffee in his bag thing and drive off.
Really. Even if it is just down the road it’s thanks for the cold half cup of coffee for no change from a £10.
Madness I say

You've met my kids then....

Had a similar problem with a DS3. Thankfully I got the mechanic to fit it and didn't try to do it myself.

Ha, I once battled with this a few years back on a DS3, when a 3 minute job became a 3 hour one. The manual was missing a step in the instructions, but I eventually discovered a nut inside the fusebox casing that allowed the fusebox to be released. Then the battery cover came off after a little fight with the brake fluid reservoir. This is one of the rare victories I've had over the various Citroens I've fought over the years.
