January Transfer Window 2026

Why though?
Shame isn't another trouble we want to be carrying at this club, we're better than that, whatever the cost.

I don't know the lad, never saw vids of the incident and maybe he has grown up and deserves forgiveness.

Did he take responsibility for his actions ? cos that is big part in forgiveness.

Anyway we need to be looking at the future not carrying the past..

Well they have a clueless board, so if ours is just as clueless moving forward, then it will make zero difference who the manager is. But I’m hopeful they will make the right decisions, which would be getting rid of Moyes by the end of this season.
The end of the season I can go with. I think his contract is up anyway right.
It’s a huge decision and should be avoided mid season unless we look like relegation fodder

Up at the end of next season unfortunately. To be fair I imagine he wasn't going to accept shorter than that because at the time it would have come across as just 'save us from relegation please'.

Ok thanks, yes I wrote that and then wondered.
I’m a bit more concerned by our scouts.
A new Manager might change that scouting network, or have it looked at.

Moyes is prepared to pay quite large sums on some young players but never gives our own players a chance, we are often told we have some very good young players on our books, why not give one or two of them a chance or a least try them from the bench, but I suppose Moyes is to stubborn for that.

We're not even giving a dibling a proper run and he cost us 35 million so I doubt an academy player would get an opportunity if that's what you were referring to? But ultimately it's as you mentioned he's just very obstinate.

He has another 12 months after this season. I think while unlikely he goes This season, a few factors could change that, poor form and if a top mananger comes available

Did he f....

Made out it was a joke gone wrong...

And let's be honest we all know whats happened as we see it all too often in every day life....

The abuser promises he'll change, it won't happen again...

The fact is the girl made choices for her kid once she found out she was pregnant....

The promises of change coupled with a lifestyle she'd probably never see otherwise
...

Also when it comes to offences of a sexual nature, its something like 1% conviction rate..

Quite often it comes down to victims being told that its your word against theres when it comes to consent..

My partner was told that anything historical is very difficult to prove criminally and you risk them getting away with a not guilty even when you know the truth..

Tldr no amount of performance on the pitch excuses actions like that, we're not kopites
