Talks very well and a handsome clean cut chap. The sort you’d happily let take your daughter to the pictures.
I know what you mean about Gueye. The lad's been fantastic for us and I love him, year on year saving our bacon in the midfield, but like Tarkowski he's almost a firefighter of a player, and we need to move on from the constant last ditch tackles and chasing games. It's an unpopular view I'm sure, but I wouldn't have him in my starting eleven if we are playing positive football.I fear Rohl will go this way. I just want to see players in their correct positions and an Everton manager who can move past the impossibility of anyone else being able to play a defensive midfield role other than Idrissa Gueye.
Starting 12 games across the season and getting 0 goals or assists, for our fact fans out there.
The 'anti-doucoure'?Didn't he go like 2 seasons without being on the winning side for Spurs or something mad?
Not a bad plan tbfI've never got who/whom correct so I just default to whom now
Very true, but there were posters who saw him as just that, based on the opinions of a few tired Sky hacks.I assumed you were talking about Armstrong at first seeing its his thread but I doubt anyone serious has compared Dibling to Bale, they're nothing alike as players
Moyes has dreamt often of the goalkeeping centre forward.@davids
Further to my point on Moyes and value for money 'utility' players...

He joined the club from SC Freiburg on an initial loan deal, which will be made permanent for £18M if the Toffees maintain their top-flight status.
“We'll keep edging him in and getting him through when we can.
“It would be easier to put him in if we had games in Europe — it's a bit harder when you're having to win a Premier League game and you only get one go at it.
“But we've been hugely impressed by him,” the Everton boss added.
The addition of Röhl brings welcome competition to the Everton midfield, which has been helmed by James Garner and Idrissa Gueye. While Tim Iroegbunam has also featured in games, he has blown hot and cold. Röhl also brings different elements to the Everton midfield, including his physicality, which could benefit the side in different game states, with his versatility also being lauded by his manager.
“He can play so many roles. We would have no problem tucking him in off the sides or maybe even putting him as a full-back or a midfield player.
“He can play higher up or lower down, so he gives us quite a lot of flexibility,” said Moyes
So Moyes is exactly like Pep in that regard?Moyes has dreamt often of the goalkeeping centre forward.
Exactly like him. Except for the 39 trophies as a manager, including 12 domestic league titles, 16 domestic cups, and 11 international trophies. So Moyes is exactly like Pep in that regard?
That’s why I said “IN THAT REGARD” numnuts rather than saying Moyes is exactly like Pep. Do try to keep up.Exactly like him. Except for the 39 trophies as a manager, including 12 domestic league titles, 16 domestic cups, and 11 international trophies.![]()
