Remembering Bill Kenwright

I think enough time has passed where we can stop lingering on the past, and his tenure here.

So, instead of focusing on his time spent at our club, let's rather remember the bright-eyed young lad, who had no aspirations on being a football club owner, but rather on being a talented actor, and most notably, his time spent on Coronation Street.

RIP, I suppose. He was quite the looker back in his day? 😜
Let Betty Turpin down also ...

Thoughts with his family of course.

I personally didn't like him very much due to his behaviour at Everton in purposely holding the club back for two decades for purely selfish reasons.

I wonder what the club would like now if we'd have realised the King's Dock dream? No guarantee of success of course, but you'd imagine we would have been by far the most attractive club outside of Liverpool, United and Arsenal for investors.

My condolences to his family, I have opinions regarding his reign , although it feels like this thread is not the place for them at this time

I was only against him being in charge of Everton. As a human being he was probably sound and definitely a blue and i have nothing but love and empathy for his family and friends. 2 years have gone really quickly and they will still be mourning their friend, dad and husband. There is nothing like losing loved ones. 💙
