I think it’s unreasonable to think there won’t be a diversity of opinion on this subject and jump On people who don’t agree .You always get one
There’s no comparison between BK and Peter Johnson. Kenwright rescued the club from JohnsonI think it’s unreasonable to think there won’t be a diversity of opinion on this subject and jump On people who don’t agree .
And the only way the club was rescued from Kenwright was because he passed. There’s no comparison between BK and Peter Johnson. Kenwright rescued the club from Johnson
So this is just my suggestion if you want to debate what you perceive as the many virtues of bill Kenwright maybe you could take it to another thread rather than in one you set up for his ‘tribute ‘ .There’s no comparison between BK and Peter Johnson. Kenwright rescued the club from Johnson
I think it’s unreasonable to think there won’t be a diversity of opinion on this subject and jump On people who don’t agree .
It’s set up as ‘tribute’ or ‘ in memoriam’ hence my attempt at politeness .If you think he was bad but tried his best and had good intentions then it’s normal to expect that he is given respect now that he has passed away
However if you think he willfully damaged the club, including attempts to move us to a budget stadium, and led eventually to the mess of the last 5yrs by prioritising his own need to stay in power over the actual best interests of our club, well then you aren’t going to think very highly of such a selfish person and threads asking to remember him will gather comments that others won’t like
Their will always be diversity of opinion, but does it have to be on this thread..I think it’s unreasonable to think there won’t be a diversity of opinion on this subject and jump On people who don’t agree .
Please don't force me to laughI think enough time has passed where we can stop lingering on the past, and his tenure here.
So, instead of focusing on his time spent at our club, let's rather remember the bright-eyed young lad, who had no aspirations on being a football club owner, but rather on being a talented actor, and most notably, his time spent on Coronation Street.

RIP, I suppose. He was quite the looker back in his day?

I'm not, mate... Not intentionally, at least. Please don't force me to laugh

Only messing budI'm not, mate... Not intentionally, at least.
If we're going to remember the man, focus on something positive he did, rather than something negative.
Well, full disclosure...Only messing bud
i had just attempted to send a respectable post, and than I saw that Beautiful pic and couldn't help myself from laughing.

To be fair I did until a snarky reply was levelled at a dissenter and I even suggested to the thread creator maybe take a debate elsewhere. However you can’t honestly expect to deify Kenwright in a Everton forum and believe everyone will clap solidly in agreement .Their will always be diversity of opinion, but does it have to be on this thread..
If you dont like the intentions behind a thread, just ignore it..
