Fireworks and dogs

Fireworks

It’s the time of year where young scals and bored dars left off plenty of fireworks. Seems a few grumbles from dog owners saying it terrifies their little fluffy buddies.

Where do you stand on this?
You can’t stop people shooting off fireworks, Chic’s.

Your best bet is to get a mild sedative from your vet, and then place the pups in room, with the radio on loud to block the noise.

I usually play classical music for them. Puts them in a calm mood.

My dogs not that bothered by fireworks. Hates the wind though.

I dislike fireworks because they do upset a lot of dogs and wildlife. I just think they are unnecessary for the general public to buy, especially when people buy 2 or 3 and set them off randomly thinking it’s good. Leave it to organised events on or around bonfire night and New Year’s Eve.

Remember when scallies use to stick rockets in cat's arses and light them?

That's the problem with kids today, no imagination

Would take some doing size of some of the rockets never mind a Catherine wheel. And I don’t suppose the cats were overly chuffed either
Nasty stewards when they get the hump

In truth. It's that time of the year most of the year, now you get certain shops selling fireworks all year round. If you have a scared dog and don't expect them till the obvious dates like Bonfire/new years eve. It does not help when you may hear them in aug/sep or earlier etc
