2025/26 David Moyes

Straw man argument no one is just moaning because we didn't beat Liverpool and City! People are however moaning because they don't feel that we should have re-appointed the longest serving Everton manager to never win a trophy, and that he's too conservative and cautious as can be seen by his away record to clubs like City and Liverpool. Plus he made a mess of the summer transfer window.

Literally the club is on record stating there is transfer committee... Suggesting Moyes messed up transfer window is simply not the case.

I think while some of the talk is over the top. The way i see it is that Moyes record in these games isnt good enough. Its one of a few flaws he has. Just look at Man Utd winning at Anfield yesterday, i dont think Man Utd are better than us. This is what churns on fans who saw it for years under Moyes and im a fan of Moyes

It’s was United first win at Anfield in 10 years

It’s not just us that struggle to beat the top teams away ..

The record of the club regardless of the manager is absolutely shameful. With fans in the ground this is the last time we won at these grounds.

Anfield: 1999
Old Trafford: 2013 (v Moyes) 1993 before that
Emirates/Highbury: 1996
Stamford Bridge: 1994
White Hart Lane/Spurs: 2008
Etihad: 2010

Considering we were so poor in the 90s and some of those teams were very good and have been very flaky at periods since vs better Everton teams then it’s an absolutely shambolic record.

Erm…

OOVVVEIDOOOO!

Really is disgraceful that when you compare it to any other also ran in the Prem. Palace for example.

They are def there for the taking this season. Esp at the back. United went for them early on. By the time we realised this it was already 2-0. Theres no guarentee we'd have got a result anyway but you could script our approach.
Sit back.
Go a few goals down.
Try and get back in it and realise we were to passive from KO.

I think a lot of us are being reminded of why we all excited when we leave.

His tactics and results away at the bigger clubs is beyond shocking.

He will see out the season but I really think he will be gone unless we somehow get Europe.....
