Wonderful player but his injury record is really bad.
You can understand if TFG are tempted to sell and reinvest in the squad .....and then you think that his transfer fee only gets you another Dibling and Barry.
15 games a season is really pretty poorplayed over 30 league games past two seasons
that’s not really bad
the recurring hamstring injury since may is a worry though, but manageable
Very good question. Will someone pay that type of money given his recent injury?
Yeah, cos John Stones is never injured. His groin and hamstring injuries are coming at Everton, where he's tasked with a hell of a lot of work baling the team out almost singlehandedly, and where he plays every game when fit.
A CL involved club wont place that workload on him and will rotate players like him in and out of the team if they feel the need to.
He'll be sold to City and his injuries wont be an issue.
Very good question.
I still think you'd get £60 million for him.
I remember Gerrard having a poor injury record as a youngster
That's a bit obtuse for me matewith the angles now
15 games a season is really pretty poor
Which means we wont sell him.Think we'd struggle for 60m at mo unless he gets on pitch and consistently performs again.
Which means we wont sell him.
I see that as a good thing
He will play 28-30 games this season, just like he has the last 2 seasonsI don't want to sell him at all.
But unless he can get consistently fit and perform it isn't good for anyone.
He will play 28-30 games this season
