This was at the time when it must have been a nightmare for away fans..especially in the fa cup games when some would actually dare coming to goodison....being chased down scottie road by literally over a thousand everton skinheads5th line down should be: "We took the Geordies too".

Defo still singing it every week in the late 70s when I started going.It started in the 1960s era I think but the Gwladdy was belting this one out when I started going every game from 1973 right through the 1980s,great old school song about a very different era![]()
Goodish Gang was sung a fair bit outside the ground since the 90s. Had quite a few airings on the Gwladys St too 10 to 15 years ago before it took off again.Talking of old songs . I had a mate , bit of an old school Everton legend , and he was always singing Goodison Gang . This is about 20 years ago and Nobody else was anywhere near that song then but he’d always belt it out on trains on boozers anywhere .
He’s not here any more but pretty much every time I hear it whether at goodison or now BMD I think about him .
