Loved these places, those days. Always took me three hours or more to walk to Kirkdale. Often ended up in a cab. Pre game in the Carisbrooke was just fantastic, bag of chips to take in the game from county road cafe.

Goodish Gang was sung a fair bit outside the ground since the 90s. Had quite a few airings on the Gwladys St too 10 to 15 years ago before it took off again.


Re Those were the days, there's about half a dozen versions of the second half of the song. I think the one the OP is looking for ends with "......we'd fight and never lose, we are the Street End Blues, we are the Street of Everton FC".
