New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

It is unfortunately, but our atmosphere is definitely among the worst of a bad bunch. I just hope that the new ground can at least still come up with a couple of special games a season like Goodison did.
Honestly I don’t think it is. I’ve watched us at about 50 different grounds and on just an average day there’s nothing between any of them. A snarling, nasty Goodison could be special for a derby or a must win game but dead for a bog standard fixture. I’ve found every other ground I’ve been to to be exactly the same.

I think other grounds are quiet but ours stands out for being silent for so much of the game. There's a lot of time when there's barely a murmur.

I suppose outside of the derby and United home games every league game is just bog standard when you`re never in the running to win a title or grab a CL place. It doesn`t help that some of the performances tend to be poor even when we get a result. This season we started with Brighton probably thinking they should have taken something out of the game having had some great chances. Then Mansfield proved hard to break down, followed it up by firing blanks against Villa, and then a very poor display against Wham. Roll on Palace on Sunday, with them playing on Thursday they may be a bit short of energy coming to BMD. We certainly used having extra UEFA Cup games on a Thursday as a reason we would play so poorly the following weekend when we were in Europe,

Been trying to hold of mentioning it cos it seems petty. But my god that dip in the North Stand does my head in.

I have no idea why most of the promotional content from the club had images facing that way instead of the South Stand.

I know the stadium would be more bowl shaped and less unique looking without it but really hoping if they acquire more of the land behind it that it can be filled in. Think the added capacity that end could help the atmosphere too.

Don’t think there’s anything wrong with the stadium acoustic. The reason the atmosphere isn’t great is because the team isn’t showing much on the back of a week it lost a derby and went out the cup.

Agree with you on the Northstand but I’d imagine the whole stand would need to be renovated to expand and that’s not going to happen for a long time.

Fan Identity linked to the team and ground needs sorting fast. There a lot of European clubs who have and are leveraging the passionate fan base within football grounds.

It pays of massively when visiting sides face a wall of noise and color. The fan base cannot do it on there own.

Its fine to be driving comercial strategy but we need to be driving the identity of the fanbase to the team and new ground.

I see/hear about tickets being available on resale.... but whenever I go into my account it always says sold out or not eligible / wrong criteria or similar.

It is through my account (ST holder) but my youngest has a FB+ membership.

Am I looking in the wrong place for the re-sale tickets?

Perfectly put. A proper supported match going fan base is an asset to a club, as we have benefitted from in the past. Clubs should be looking to enhance that not substitute it for higher paying day trippers.
