Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Love the new track which Abi describes as being about a boy but can’t catch its name despite listening on repeat this afternoon. How very flamboyant and over the top in such a good way.
It's called Agnus Dei, which I'm sure you know translates to Lamb of God. There's actually quite a funny story related to this which is covered in the interview below. 11 mins 21 seconds

Oh Christopher, what would your Mother say!!??!!
Second Best is being released tomorrow as the third single off the album. It's been my favourite song by them since they first played it 2 years ago, but you never know how a great live song is going to translate to the studio, and vice versa. So I've been a little apprehensive about it. But they've just dropped a short video on social media playing the final 20 seconds of the song and it sounds unreal. I'm hoping it will be available to stream after midnight so it'll probably be another late one for me. It's not as if I have work tomorrow.

Hello all. We're still 8n Symi. We've been up a mountain on the Little Symi Train, visited a church (closed), had a look at the war memorial, been to the beach, swam In the sea and ate calamari in one of the many tavernas around the harbour (well I did,Mr F had meatballs) I am so taken with this place. It is beautiful. Some of the yachts in the harbour have to be seen to be believed. I googled one of them - £150m, running costs £10m a year.1000011310.webp1000011314.webp1000011427.webp

Haha. I was being a bit flippant there H. I've used a wallet before for concert tickets but I always thought it was part of the ticket company app, I didn't realise it was the phone itself. Or perhaps it's both.

I must admit all this technology scares the s out of me and if I could avoid using it I probably would. But it's the norm these days so we need to get used to it. Doesn't stop me panicking over being stopped entry into a concert or getting kicked off a train.
Oops, I was a bit slow on the uptake there - not for the first time.🤣

I look forward to your review of it.

Lovely photos Anj. The only time I visited Simi was on a day trip from Rhodes, the church near the harbour looked worth a visit but as I had shorts on I was refused entry unless I put on the trousers offered me. They looked a bit tatty and had obviously been worn by hundreds of tourists so I gave it a miss . That was late ‘77s so things may have changed now.

Hope the pants have .

Hi guys, hope you're all well. Rainy Wednesday here so didn't go too far walking.

Random comment but using an electric shower for 5 mins cost loads, relative to normal daily usage if I don't shower, which I do because I don't go anywhere to get that dirty or sweaty.

Not up to much today, I was going to do some ironing but cba now, I've been a little lethargic these last few days.

Hope you're all safe as the world burns  the 2020's have to be the strangest decade I've ever known, something is afoot 🤔

Have a good day.

If the electricity grid and internet go down people are going to be screwed. You won't need a nuclear weapon an EMP weapon will do the damage, it will break society.

It's why I went and bought a dvd player(yes I know hardly important) because the internet went down and I had no access to anything tv related or online related. Imagine that ramped up to where nothing electronic works anymore. Pretty much everything we use is electronic these days.

Our growing reliance on the internet is quite worrying really. My family use their phones/internet for almost everything. When I say (lost phone, no signal etc.) but what if… they say but it won’t. Oh won’t it? I realise I’m at the age where I’m getting too old to adapt and quite frankly I’m not sorry I’m nearer the exit than the entrance so to speak  .
