Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Well the Wolf Alice show is at the 3 Arena, so not quite as intimate. :) The Clearing is one of the 6 LPs I purchased to kick my vinyl collection. It's a lot more poppy than their previous records but still very good.

You may have problems finding that TLDP set as two of them have already been taken down. But I found this that seems to have gone under the radar. It's OK apart from the Scythe and the Killer which some areas (including mine) had issues with the original stream. But both of the brand new ones are on there.;)

I was literally just looking for that. I have a banging headache and was going to just close my eyes for a bit and listen to some music.

Well it was news to me too. The looks of disbelief I got from the family when I asked what the wallet was were something to behold.😂
Haha. I was being a bit flippant there H. I've used a wallet before for concert tickets but I always thought it was part of the ticket company app, I didn't realise it was the phone itself. Or perhaps it's both.

I must admit all this technology scares the s out of me and if I could avoid using it I probably would. But it's the norm these days so we need to get used to it. Doesn't stop me panicking over being stopped entry into a concert or getting kicked off a train.

Morning all. It’s been a busy few days and I should have posted this on Saturday, but better late etc. On Saturday I was travelling to Nairn parkrun , 55 minutes up the coast , and listening to Radio5 live. They were doing an interview with the family owned “ The Musical Box” in Liverpool, talking about its origins , family members and they are the longest standing record shop in the UK. It opened about 1947 I think but I missed that bit . Anybody familiar with this shop?
On the way home about an hour later, they were interviewing a Belfast artist Bea Stewart , new to me but likely one that @Armaghtoffee / @Barnfred 55 will know. Every week they do a Fan Song for an artist to sing and she was asked to sing the Jordan Pickford song. Quite made my morning 🙂. I know, this is a very random post but heh ho 🙂🤷‍♂️
I know the name but little of her work. Wonder if she is an Everton fan..

I have to confess it isn't a name I recognise mate. But if she's a Blue I ought to give her a listen.

I genuinely have no idea where the wallet is on my phone or how to find it

I don’t believe she’s a blue , she was just asked to sing the song cos she was there, they pick a fan song each week and a guest sings it.
Talking of tickets, did you send me that email mate? If so it may be in my spam which doesn't show up on my phone.
Re this bit , I don’t know if it helps you but a year or so ago my phone had nothing in the “ Junk” bit , it had all mysteriously disappeared. I then found it further down alphabetically under J as a Junk folder in my list of Folders. If like me the Spam Fairies visited you and mucked about with your phone your Junk may now be somewhere else!

@blue1948 explanation of photos;
1. Mediterranean garden created in 1st lockdown
2. Shows entry to Arboretum planted 2021/22
3. Tropical garden created last year and added to in May / June this year
4. Tropical garden
5. Think this is a duplication
6. View of lawn leading to pond
7. View up the garden with a brand new ( needs a lot of time ) fernery.
8. Spring border
9. Lawn with spring border and Tintin photo bombing!

I also have an Asian themed courtyard.....
Stunning @jazzy and in such a short time .I am sure in the spring/summer it is spectacular .
Well if I ever get over I would love to see it as it must take your breath away .Is that a fatsia japonica hiding in the left of the Oriental courtyard ? I worked on the mall in Kendal , they demolished a lot of old and abandoned houses to do it ,one had a massive Fatsia in the yard , famous gardener told me it was due to the gulf stream that it was able to suffer the winters.

Good spot. In fact I've got 5 in the garden in total. I cheat and have a couple in the tropical garden because they have big leaves , look exotic and grow so quickly

Love the new track which Abi describes as being about a boy but can’t catch its name despite listening on repeat this afternoon. How very flamboyant and over the top in such a good way.
