the way we are starting to play is give it to Jack and see what he can do?
no support from fullbacks and other teams are doubling or trebleing up on him.

Moyes is going to have to be mindful of this and maybe use a false 9 at some point to stop blasting the ball up to 2 strikers who don't play that way, even Palace didn't do that yesterday

Good interview from what I saw of it on sky, the lad just increases my mancrush each time I see him or him talk about the clubs influence on bringing back his love of football.

Showed he wasn't happy with the cup game, if anything we have to show this lad that we are moving forward in a way that excites him.

Don't ever let him leave cos our lack of progression.
He should be the pinpoint of what we strive for.. 🥰
I’m not really interested in interviews but what goes on when he plays, I’m waiting for him to leave the wing and get involved more by moving around the pitch, which he did a few years ago with Villa, destroyed Liverpool in one semi final of the FA Cup, has he still got that in his locker, and even switch wings now and again with Ndaiye, being honest Grealish needs more movement out of his teammates but the lack of movement has been a long term problem and Moyes hasn’t improved it.

He might not be as young and fresh as he was at villa, but the lad has still got it, from the games he's played for us, could've you really expected more after last few years at city, he said he's been given licence to play his game when he's got the ball, the movement of the players around him is down to the structure moyes sets and the certain players ability to be on his wavelength, none of that really has anything to do with Jack's game. Give him the tools and then see how he does..

But after a handful of games, he's looking pretty damn great, and better than anybody would have expected us to have in our squad after the window..

“ Playing pretty damn great” I’m still waiting to see that, and if he’s been given the licence to play his own game then I expect him to do a bit more than he has done and stop hugging the touchline, especially for £300,000 a week, mind you he’s done a bit more than Dewsbury Hall except giving us a goal, mind you I’ll give him time to show me the real Jack Grealish. What ‘s the last few years at City done to him to stop him playing better than he can?

I think we're just looking at a different player, if he isn't a player you could of only dreamed of having at our club over quite a period now, than I'm not sure what could please you..

Even in the interview he brings up the fact of needing to make more shots, score more goals..

If we hadn't got jack you'd be watching McNeil on the left..

Hope this is a 'tongue in cheek' comment matey. We've scored six league goals and he's been involved in everyone, not sure he can do much more tbh.

I can forgive a lot in a player, manager, or administrator at Everton if they genuinely want to do what it takes to win something. I wouldn't give the time of day to "progress" or "stability" if it doesn't come with that desire to do all it takes to try to win something.

We've had far too many years of Kenwright's "good times", Moshiri's "expected defeats", and Moyes's "knife to a gunfight".

"I'd love to win something" - Jack Grealish. The way he said it, you can hear the desire. I suspect he was a very disappointed man on Tuesday night. I'm not sure everybody else at the club was. Until that changes, nothing changes.

You counting that two yard pass as an assist, two of the other goals were assisted by two, passes before the goals were scored, good centre v Brighton which Ndaiye anticipated very well. A very good assist v Wolves , league game nothing v Liverpool, Villa and Wolves second half cup game.I really and honestly say he has played damn well.

So he is admitting he needs to be doing a bit more, at least he’s honest about his performances. For £300, 000 per week I’d need to see someone better than McNeil, but is Jack doing enough to justify that fee? Again he might do a lot more and justify that fee given time, I’ll wait and see.
