Just CBA, this cup is rigged for Scab 6 teams, why keep winning games in it just to run into that and still not win

Do you know that feeling when you forget there was a cup game and wake up and see the bomb shelter as the top thread...

... and then read the top 2 threads in the Everton sub-forum both decrying 2 new recruits who just got here and are adjusting to life here and have crazy expectations put on them immediately rather than allow them to settle in and show their true ability and realise that might not be straight away and maybe not even this season?
