People at the club should’ve been factoring all of that in in May when they knew we needed to bring in 10 players. This definitely isn’t something that should only be thought about once the season starts.

Probably were but the old leaders have gone and the new team may have come in and thought they could rip it up and do a better job.

What counts as a good season?

I’d take 12th again right now as long as it’s less chaotic than the last two seasons. This is the position we’ve been left in by our failure of a transfer window.

We have Iroegbunam, Garner, Gana and Armstrong.

3 of them aren’t good enough/not ready, and the other is THIRTY SIX YEARS OLD. We need 2 starting CM’s and one for depth.

I just don’t see how we can possibly finish 6th. Lots of good sides in this division. Not like Moyes’ first spell when you’d have Bolton Wanderers in the top 6.
