If Patterson can have a good pre season I’d imagine we’d keep him rather than bringing in coufal. Harrison will be very last resort if we can’t manage to bring any of the other targets in.
Therefore I expect both to sign.

I actually don’t think he did too bad last night. Appreciate 1) it’s Accrington Stanley and 2) it’s just a run about to get fit, but he must be up there with chances created/attempted shots.

Long long way to go, and the fear is he will break down at any point, or he won’t be able to step up to the required level

Ian Herbert (the Daily Fail) says Moyes is not interested in Luiz. The Fail is generally tragic/axe-grinding on us but Ian is ex Post/Echo (wrote a famous Paisley biography) and knows Moyes well so maybe this is valid.
