I don't dispute the stats but it takes the enjoyment out of sports.

It puts paid to discussion and opinion.

I like sitting in the pub with my mates and discussing why I think said player is good or bad from how I view the game.

As soon as you pull a stats and pie charts it ends all debate.

It's boring.
I lose respect for anyone brings stats to a discussion. Stats can also be manipulated to make any point you want.

Stats are twisted to suit. Example: 'Everton have only won 1 derby in last eight derbys at goodison'..............This is true so is a fact. The type of fact that commentators would spew out. Here is another fact that commentators wouldn't dare say 'Liverpool have only won once in the last eight goodison derbys'
That is a prime example of the way people use stats. Factually correct but doesn't tell the whole story
