Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Premier league summer series July 26th

After Accrington Stanley & Blackburn we head to The United States to play Bournemouth, West Ham and Man United.

This is 6 weeks away and we probably need 6-8 players in by then.

Surely 1 signing a week from now?
Unlikely we'll actually sign anyone before the start of July due to PSR. If we're run differently these days, we can have them lined up for then though.

I haven’t followed Moyes’ transfer dealings since he left Everton, but he was never the most decisive. So given that and us basically having a whole new recruitment structure, those expecting us to have a flurry of deals lined up for the start of July are going to be disappointed.

I think the majority of our signings will be late July or August. Would be nice to have a squad capable and prepared to win Premier League games to start a season, as that wasn’t the case under Dyche.

1st July new PSR window mate.

Thats our focus, IMO.
Also when most of the squad (that we have left) report back for pre-season training along with obviously the management. Just have to sit tight for another fortnight or so then things will start to get interesting. The late finish to this season has been handy actually because it’s shortened the boredom of the summer break! Fixtures released Wednesday and only just over two weeks until the players return and it seems we’ve literally only just played Newcastle!

He is a ditherer, but by supposedly he wants 4 or 5 in in time to participate in the pre-season camp/tour.

I disagree with the narrative that Moyes is indecisive or a ditherer.
He is certainly thorough though.
He has never been in a comfortable financial position that would allow him to make risky signings , and therefore this feeds the impression of indecisiveness.
Would I rather have this situation , or the reckless abandon of Koeman and Walsh. Absolutely Moyesey !
