I'd be staggered if we paid €18 million for Fred , particularly at his age.

However I'm sure that he's a decent player.

He and McTominay (McFred) got absolute belters at United and just look at how McTominay has flourished away from Toxic United.

At anything under £10 million I think he would be fine. Wages though? I haven't got a clue.

You can state that like it's a fact and believe it if you want but it isn't what is written. That's just you filling in the blanks. It's equally as possible that he's heard absolutely nothing and is just stating the same fact we all know.

If he had actual info about their contract situations wouldn't his article be about that? Why would he bury new information at the bottom of an article about Thierno Barry. He wouldn't, he'd write a lovely new article or perhaps even two about DCL and Keane.

If it was a free signing I'd be fine with it if his legs are still there as his engine was great. Makes no sense to pay a fee like that for him though.

Not really Joyce broke the story of them leaving…considering Joyce is one of the few reliable journalists around very likely a safe bet.

Indeed , I was one of many saying that he won't get game time at Chelsea and that they will sign a much better CF as a starter.

However Delap's ego probably outweighs his ability.

From Chelsea's POV £30 million was simply too good a deal to pass on and they will add him to the churn.

Think we will do with it looking like dcl and is a postion alot teams seem to be looking at looks like we have gone early on players. Delap/barry to try and get the deal done, think whenever this psr date goes even before that will start hearing more leaks of us going in for players
