Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

as it stands our strongest starting XI and bench is: -

---------------------Pickford-----------------------

O'Brien--------Tarkowski------Branthwaite----Mykolenko

------------------Gueye*------Garner--------------------

McNeil------------------Alcaraz-------------------N'diaye

--------------------------Beto------------------------------

Bench: Tyrer*, Patterson, Coleman*, Keane*, Iroegbunam, Harrison-Armstrong*, Chermiti*

*this is on the understanding that Gueye and Coleman accept their new contracts and Keane agrees to stay on reduced terms and that Coleman's contract includes a player role and that Tyrer, Chermiti and Harrison-Armstrong are not loaned out next season
Why are we double barreling Harrison-Armstrong ?

I quite like Harrison Harrison-Armstrong mind you !

We all have opinions lad I've no problem with yours, believe what you want to believe.

Its not about believing what you want to believe its about following what makes sense and kenwright suddenly demanding we sign a midget who can't score and gets legged by a turtle doesnt make sense.

If were putting the blame for maupay on kenwright because he demands PL experience then are we also praising kenwright for every good player we've signed with PL experience now?

Then prove to us Kenwright didn't. Touché btw. For one who can't stand him you sure are defending him. :)

Im not defending him im just able to put my dislike for someone aside to try to follow the information to what makes the most sense in the absences of factual proof.

Use the search function.

It's not anyone else's job to find information for you thats been discussed for literally years.

Clue: Try typing Thelwell Maupay Bobble and hey presto

Weird...it'll of taken you more time to write that then find your proof and copy and paste it if its that easy

"A Midget that gets legged by a Turtle" best description of him I've ever heard. 👏 Second part that's a fair point, yes he would get credit just the same but that's what I was trying to say, that was Evertons MO at the time, I just hope it's not the MO now. Think Everton at that time were skint again and didn't really want to take too many chances on foreign players not working out.

Don't hate the player...hate the game.

It's common knowledge at this point.

Whether you choose to follow the information or make up a different scenario in your own mind...

...as always, the choice is yours ;)

I agree that kenwright would of recommend PL experience in signing players and we signed alot of players with PL experience that window. Only onana and garner didnt have PL experience.

But did kenwright sign tarks, maupay, McNeil, cody, gana and vinarge? Because at rhat point why do we even have a DoF?

Like i said i personally believe kenwright would of insisted on players we sign having already played in the PL but truly doubt he identified targets and signed them.
