Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

This changes everything @Evermaarton
True. Didnt know that.

Just read he apparently snubbed a number of clubs in january because he only wants to leave PSV for some "elite" clubs. He had a rather underwhelming season though. And the word is that PSV wants to offload him this summer if he doesn't sign a contractextension. Could be a very interested option indeed. Last season he was unstoppable in some matches. On the other hand he also has a tendency to fade out during matches or even whole matches. Basically he needs to grow up as a player. But if he manages that he will be a very, very good player.

Markiplier twerking on the transfer thread

Either woke nonsense or GOT trying to entice a younger audience

His praise was saying "hes trying" and "had a good run" or "if he was younger you'd say he's got some qualities". He basically pats him on the head when he's asked but never says anything that signals he thinks he's good enough. It's always he's training to get better.

Also said he was playing mainly due to injuries and took his chance which signals that if Dom or Broja were fully available, they'd be in over him.

So I wouldn't be surprised him begging Dom to stay.
Yep. And it would be a stupid decision. One can score, the other one is God awful and gets in the team because he can hold the ball - a skill that is literally useless when he misses virtually every single chance he gets in front of goal.Would much rather have a striker who can score and needs to work on his hold up play, than the other way round.

I agree and I think the Dom ship as sailed. BUT...he's very much a Moyes type striker. He'll want a goal return but mostly he'll want off the ball stuff.

Now, in theory it would work IF the support around him got 10+ goals a season (remember Osman, Fellaini, Cahill all chipped in with goals).

But the issues are - he's injury prone and he's awful in front of goal.
