The guy definately has potential but he wont come cheap though. Thats basically what I meant with Perisic. He is probably attainable for a very reasonable price and has still at least one good year in him.

PSV might be regretting not cashing in, though? Can you be sure Perisic has another year? I remember him looking over the hill when he was at Spurs. It's a much quicker league.

I think PSV won't accept anything under 30 mil (euro) for Bakayoko.

When PSV signed Perisic I wasnt convinced myself (Ajax was also in the market for him and I didnt care he signed for the scum from Eindhoven). But he turned out to be by far their most important player. He scored a lot of important goals and was a real leader. Without him PSV wouldnt be crowned champions. If he is available for free (or something close) its basically risk free. Worth a shot imo.

Praised him a lot at the back end of the season.

His praise was saying "hes trying" and "had a good run" or "if he was younger you'd say he's got some qualities". He basically pats him on the head when he's asked but never says anything that signals he thinks he's good enough. It's always he's training to get better.

Also said he was playing mainly due to injuries and took his chance which signals that if Dom or Broja were fully available, they'd be in over him.

So I wouldn't be surprised him begging Dom to stay.

I have no idea who you are or what your full time job is if it isn’t Everton related stuff.

However, I think our fans have a right to be slightly reticent to listen to a fellow fan (which you have just said you are) because for the last number of years there have been numerous occasions where fans have tried to elevate themselves to positions of trust and that has then gone to their head and it became clear they only had their own interests at heart.

I can’t speak for anyone else mate or previous occasions, but I’d like to think I handle myself in a way that shows none of these traits.

I don’t think there is a journalist or ITK in the world that has a 100% accuracy rate so the fact you didn’t know about Alcaraz is hardly a fair thing to go at you with in my view either.

Given that most of us expect even Callum Wilson on a free to pop off elsewhere for a bigger wage, I'd say 95% of us are expecting Moyes to make the best of what he's got now with a bit out and a bit in.

Only those with the lowest expectations expect that

From my perspective, he's never said anything that has turned out to be categorically wrong, so I trust his info. He's clearly a decent enough guy too. But there is a definite pile on mentality on here sometimes.
