Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

A team that get Europe pretty much every season and have had ONE bad season and still won a European trophy and got CL football, or a team who’ve been fighting relegation for a few years.
Take off the blue specs and it would appeal to most players. Until we manage to prove we can actually finish top 10 no player would choose over Spurs.
Most of our fans are begging Spurs to sell us one of their worst strikers in a long time, that tells us where we are.

The choice isn’t Everton or Spurs though. The choice is jump on the first clown car that passes, or wait and join a more consistent top club.

Here’s the article
If the talk around Tuchel trying to influence his future is true that would be annoying. Tuchel has no place in trying to influence Branthwaite's future - he is the England manager, not our manager.

RE: Spurs and Branthwaite. They still don't know if they're keeping Ange and there could be investment on the horizon. Rumoured to be from Qatar. Hopefully none of it gets sorted this window?

The talk of playing at ‘a higher level’ is nonsense too. He’ll play 12 games against some of the better sides in the Champions league next season, 6 more v other teams competing in Europe.

Moyes only has to show him Jagielka’s 40 caps and say you can be an England centre back playing for Everton.
There are plenty of players who have been involved in recent England squads which have not been playing for Champions League clubs: Guehi, Eze, Bowen, Gibbs-White are just examples off the top of my head.

Such a policy from Tuchel could be disastrous for a handful of clubs, including ourselves, if he were to stick with it (assuming this talk is correct).

It is all just the media wanting to sell our players for us, yet again. I am sick of it. Playing for us should be viewed as a prestigious opportunity, as we are one of the most successful clubs in the history of the top flight with a long and storied presence.
