Fellaini's best performance

I cant quite work out if some of the comments in this thread are a joke, that I have missed??

Are people serisouly saying that they dont rate Fellaini?

The lad is definitly world class, whether he plays in central midfield, or in the advanced midfield role that he played today. The guy is a beast, and a pretty consistant one at that. The ball just sticks to this guy, his touch is perfect, he is phenominal in the air with his hold up play, and you would be hard pushed to find anyone who can chest the ball as perfectly as he can. And the attacking aspects of his game that he showed at the Swansea and Sunderland (Cup Replay) were just brilliant.

Felli is the single most important player in our current squad, we need to keep him at all costs, loose him and the team will fall apart.

But he isn't world class.

He's one of our most important players and would be in the starting XI in most of the other Premiership clubs ... and the others would want him in their squad.

I guess the "world class" thing depends on how you define world class. Personally I think world class players are the ones who completely boss a game at the very highest level, which basically is in a major tournament ( World Cup / Euros ) or Champions League. As of yet, Felli hasn't really had the opportunity to show if he can do that.

Hopefully he'll get the chance while still wearing Royal Blue.

if this is the level of world class you are happy with then we shall forever be a mediocre team.

We are all entitled to our opinions, and I respect yours. I'm just a little bit surprised that you dont consider Felli to be world class. I think the players around Fellaini will dictate whether or not we remain 'mediocre'. Which isn't the word I would choose to describe the current Everton team.

I did indeed once shave my pubes into a brazilian so effectivly a mohican. I'm thinking of doing it again for Krakow banter. Might try something different though.

World class means being the best in the world in your position. Big Nev was world class, Fellaini is very good but not world class..

World class doesn't mean anything concrete. It's subjective.

Although it definitely doesn't mean what you say... That would mean there could only ever be exactly 11 world class player at one time.
