Take the 2 point hit. Were not selling ArmstrongThe Echo pointing out we will be tight on PSR again (as a relatively good year dropped out of the 3 year rolling) and that if anything sales might be more likely than purchases before 30 June is a gentle reminder to us all of the distance we still have to go under the new owners to be fully stable.
We may be OK, that was certainly TFG’s indication when they took over, but it sounds like it is tight. The £5m revenue loss from fewer TV games won’t have helped. The improved league placing did offset it though.
Unlike last year due to so many expired contracts we do not really have a Godfrey or Dobbin to sell, unless they see Armstrong as dispensable (hopefully not). The press know this which is why we see links to Branthwaite and Beto being sold.
It is lazy journalism in a sense but we are still in a relatively weak position until the new league year starts and the BMD revenue uplift can begin.
Don't get itBattle of Hastings commences
Christ, you lot are like the Gestapo! Bobble's mate was speaking about it on his Twitter after the Spurs talk came out thos afternoon. He usually likes to talk about stuff when Bobble has given him some kind of nod as it is some kind of weird flex he does.
If we’re close let’s just sell Goodison to and ladies team for £50 million. That seems to be allowed. The Echo pointing out we will be tight on PSR again (as a relatively good year dropped out of the 3 year rolling) and that if anything sales might be more likely than purchases before 30 June is a gentle reminder to us all of the distance we still have to go under the new owners to be fully stable.

You’re suggesting I’d start?Would you though?
No.You’re suggesting I’d start?
It’s possible the scouts have seen something in him that suggests he can step up I guess
My brother in law is a big Rangers man, doesn’t seem that enamoured with him and was surprised a PL club would be in for him, has put in some big performances in the bigger games but can go missing during the weekly grind. Not sure that’s the attitude we need although I guess if the talent’s there he might step up when he’s in the big show.
Said he’d be happy if they got 10m for him which is small change in PL terms, my worry is these days it rarely gets you a PL player.
With Kopite keV ensconced at Rangers and today's Red Echo PSR scare story surely it only means one thing ....yep another PSR swap involving Tim only both he and the Rangers diamond are valued at £25 million.….he’s a central midfielder![]()
I was overthinking. Thought it was a tenuous link as Brighton is close to HastingsSaid poster posted 3 links from an aggregator site that were posted up about 12 hours previously. Does it regularly. Petty perhaps but if something appears on X it will be up here fairly soon after.
