Leave Utd with their financial mistakes - don't bring them here.Any takers for Anthony? Possibly on loan? He did well at real betis
Could it just be that he suits that league? Too risky given how much he bombed in the Premier League (and he seems like a bit of a tool).Any takers for Anthony? Possibly on loan? He did well at real betis
If we move Garner into RW then we can probably get away with buying just the one RW, currently we need two I think
His best performance in an Everton shirt was playing RB in the Doucoure/Bournemouth game. He’s a decent squad filler, but I thought he was gonna be everything Adam Wharton has turned out to be. Hasn’t reached anywhere near that level.Accept Garner isn't very good and even worse out of position, in fact what is his best position?
Is strange as has said he was good at rb but doesnt want to play in that position, what frustrates me about him is that he does have a solid game. Is more his defensive side but when he has a chance to get on the ball and take control does not do enough. Esp with alcaraz in the 10 position has players infront now better on the ball so must inproveAccept Garner isn't very good and even worse out of position, in fact what is his best position?
From Sheffield United, I think we should consider their left back Harrison Burrows.
23 years old who moved during last summer from Peterborough where he was named Player of the Season and Supporter Player of the Year.
His disallowed goal in the Playoffs meant he missed out on the Prem but he has a lot of what we want in a full back:
Pace
Passing
Crossing

I think Garner is one of those players more appreciated by teammates and managers than fans.
Why hasn’t Micky Keane been released?
He's a good premier league central midfielder. He's just bottom half PL level, and not top half PL level.
It's fairly easy to understand surely? I understand that you can think of 3 players from between 38 and 60 years ago who don't support the idea, but the concept of some players being better than others is pretty well established I think.….never understand such categorisation, he could just be a player that blends into a top team. I always think about Nobby Stiles being a World Cup winner for England when far more talented players didn’t get in the side. Paul Power and Wayne Clarke were fundamental in helping us win a title.
Often a certain type of footballer is just the right fit, a cog in a wheel.

Must be very difficult for a midfielder passer in the Everton team with the lack of forward movement. His best performance in an Everton shirt was playing RB in the Doucoure/Bournemouth game.
