Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I see Ben Jacobs has confirmed we are after Doak and talked to Delap, but says we aren’t frontrunners. I'm always intrigued as to whether those comments come from the player's camp, or is just guesswork because we're Everton.

Anyway, saw this online. For the record, I think Delap would be a good signing. This is more for the people who say Beto is rubbish. Beto on the left.

Think we can forget about signing any Sunderland players this year
Shame. They've got some good talent there.Tbh. the one I've most liked the look of when I've seen them scored today and is already on his way to Brighton. Lad's probably only played about 20 games but looks like a right gem.

Prob abit of work by the agent so a club like us would offer a higher wage to get him here

if we want a player mate I E we bid the correct amount the player isn’t saying no to come to us
The problem is our correct amount will certainly not be their correct amount. The value they previously put on their coveted players will almost certainly have increased to the point it’s not even worth pursuing them. Why would they accept a “reasonable” fee for Rigg now? The answer is they wouldn’t because they don’t need to for two reasons. One, they now have the same Premiership riches as everyone else, and two, they will want to make a good fist of staying in the division so it makes no sense for them to sell their valuable players.

I’d be hugely surprised if they sell any player they currently have that they value.

it’s a catch 22 they will want to keep them to stay up but if they go down the price
plummets

i’d like to think if the player knew he would want to come
