Imagine this was 12 months ago, half of GoT would have lynched you for suggesting this. How about a cheeky McTominay-Gilmour double swoop?

Problem is, if we wait til he is ready, someone else will be ahead of us in the pecking order. That Rigg player from Sunderland is a no from me, not ready yet
For me, it depends how he is used. As a goalscorer, I doubt he is an improvement on Beto and Ndiaye. What he does bring is size and excellent dribbling ability for his size which for me is interesting. Ndiaye made a massive difference to our team. Imagine having someone that can score goals in the center by creating his own shot and getting involved aerially in addition to Ndiaye. It would be interesting. If we get a Ben Doak in addition plus Harry lad impressed in preseason, it would be an interesting upcoming season. We would have a front 4 that could actually rotate. Me being optimistic thoughI’m surprise we are after him to be honest. Logic would suggest we need someone with the profile to play across the front line, someone similar to Richy. I can understand 30m budget on such a role, especially if he is good at right wing, but not someone who is positionally limited and similar to all our current strikers.
Thank goodness. Preferred to see Sheffield in the premThink we can forget about signing any Sunderland players this year
Prob puts end to libks to sunderland players then

This is exactly the new Everton way - get high potential players in after they've had a bit of an off season/dropped out of form. We can allow them today develop and thrive and we'll have another NDiaye/O'BrienProblem is, if we wait til he is ready, someone else will be ahead of us in the pecking order.
Now is precisely the time to get him, if Sunderland don't come up.
Just makes it harder could see players like neil signing a new contract now because went up.I’m not entirely sure it works like that at all.
It used to be quite rare, but ive noticed a few teams doing it over the last few years.I’m not entirely sure it works like that at all.

I suspect the opposite actually.Same, Moyes didn’t sound confident on it.

Many examples recently mike, as I say.Didn’t our own Ndiaye leave Sheff Utd after promotion? About half the Burnley team that came up in 2023 got off as well.
