he literally scored a fantastic goal in Moyes first real game in charge (Villa doesn’t really count as Moyes had a matter of hours with the players). So there were indications already that Moyes could get more out of him.
He was great against Spurs

Folks, we have one of DCL’s hamstrings in our midst. His cameo on Sunday wasapainfulwatch.
Until his hamstring went after 10 minutes into the next game. DCL out for a run of games saw our goal return improve.he literally scored a fantastic goal in Moyes first real game in charge (Villa doesn’t really count as Moyes had a matter of hours with the players). Not quite that binary though. As that completely ignores the negative anti football played by Dyche and the more positive attacking approach Moyes instilled.Until his hamstring went after 10 minutes into the next game. DCL out for a run of games saw our goal return improve.
I think he will go if he & a club can agree terms ....Not quite that binary though. As that completely ignores the negative anti football played by Dyche and the more positive attacking approach Moyes instilled.
We will never know though as he got injured again. So time for us to thank him and part ways.
I would definitely keep Beto ahead of him.….if he’s not staying then I imagine he’s agreed terms elsewhere sometime ago.
Edit; @Marius57 this is conjecture, not fact![]()
No.Will he ever stay healthy again? Is Beto a one year wonder for us? These questions have to be determined this summer. A Delap or a signing quite like him would relegate both you would think.
I would definitely keep Beto ahead of him.
If he can't agree massively reduced terms, then he's gone.
