Deserved to be there yesterday, wasn’t the biggest fan but he always represented the club incredibly well

Lescott had some cheek to show up! Notable omissions - Peter Beagrie. Gravenson, Carsley. Andy Johnson. Madar. Bakayoko. The Yak. Kanchelskis. I was a little disappointed each player never got a personal introduction, a chance to wave to the crowd. Suppose they may say 'it would take all day' but so what? This was a momentous occasion and fans would be happy to be there all day.

Kanchelskis Jr was there at the clubs invitation so he was definitely invited

Yeah... It was just I missed so many - what I have managwd to see on TV, I had no idea they were there. Beardsley cut a lonely figure. Pat Nevin looked bereft.

Didn't Kanchelskis send a video message on the big screens, pretty sure he was one fo the first to be shown?

But yeah there were a few surpise ommisions
 
What did the crowd chant at Rooney when he stated talking that made him say "I am an effing scouser though"?
 

Did anyone see Amokachi there ?

I will always remember him for that semi final against Spurs where be basically subbed himself on and scored twice
 
Nick Barmby received an invite to attend yesterday.

Seeing as he was offered an invitation, I would be intrigued to know who else was invited. If there is one player whom the supporters would unanimously not welcome, it would probably be him. Surely someone at the club should have known better.
