Didn't see this at all. He was better than gana today, and he got the move going for our second goal.

Getting alot of stick based on not closing down Enciso for a wondergoal.

Clearly better than Gana and id say 7/10 today. Hes just a 6 or 7 player each game.

We will upgrade him with Armstrong and need a big upgrade on Gana soon too.

Garner will be a good long term squad player.

What did he do to warrant a 7/10

Just got back from the game. I thought Garner was really good. Weird how we all see it differently
Same but as always i still want more from him thought again alot of his best work was the defensive part. Did alot of covering first and second half, just dont think we have a link in midfield to get it to the attacking three.

Agree, works hard like Gana(not as good) but not rarely seems to create supply to our attackers. I think a new centre mid with vision is one of our several priorities.

He's the whipping boy for the lads who don't really understand midfield
Seems to have recovered from his back injury which is a plus. In midfield we have a few players who've had fairly long term injuries so maybe unfair to judge them to harshly before they have a full pre-season before Bramley Moor.
