2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

If we get to a place where Dom is on the bench as our impact sub we'd be doing very well. He still holds up play better than any of our other forwards have.
Agree with this. I was keen to move him on and sort of still am.

BUT and it’s a big but, as we’ve so much business to do in summer. If he stays as a back up striker, because we’ve managed to bring in a new starting striker, I’d say that’s a good outcome …

Rode the final 18 months of contract turmoil like a pro. Moshiri, the new ground, the sale, the circling vultures, masters and his psr rules, dyche-ball, it was always going to mean harm somewhere. Here it is. I highly suspect some of the negative support aspect* (TM) has worn off on some of the players that get the focus of it's ire. Some players can wear the hostility and soldier on, others not so much. Davies didn't fancy re-signing, same goes Kenny. They're his pals off pitch. Sign on bonus, pastures new, put some of the negativity of koeman lampard benitez and dyche behind him. Fair enough, important header vs Palace. Another one that'll go down as a saviour. Let the begrudgers begrudge.

Good interview and he's always seemed a decent guy. Personally hope he stays and we also get in another good striker.

Despite what people say he is a good player, not the best or a natural finisher but the rest of his game is good and has scored some great goals over the years.
