I think blues might have to make peace with certain players staying on for next season.

We're are going to need a squad and it's probably going to take a couple of windows.

Yeah individually they may have some decent attributes. Put them together and it all falls apart like a house of cards

We're definitely going have to retain certain players whether we like it or not.

I personally think it will take 3 windows to clear the decks.

Exactly.I for one Welcome us being a Bag of S...E in our New Stadium.Like home from home for a year or 2.

If we give some of the deadwood contracts it will be another 2 to 3 years before they leave. It’s like we have learnt nothing from being one of the worst run clubs ever

All likelihood is if we sign 6/7 new players on long term contracts they’re not all going to be a success either. If we can keep squad players on short term it will probably be beneficial in the long run.

As long as those players aren't Keane, Young, Coleman, Harrison, Lindstrom, Doucoure, Begovic and DCL, I'm happy to keep the other one Jimmy

Which deadwood would we be giving 2-3 year deal?

Suspect he will go to a top club .
He is certainly being courted by a few .
Unlikely to end up with us .

Depends on game time, he will want to play every week and will be thinking of the World Cup next summer.
Everton will be a big pull With the new stadium and a lot of exposure
