2024/25 David Moyes

Moyes is going nowhere. He'll see his contract out and the worst we'll deal with under him is two seasons of meh football and no serious threat of relegation and leaving us in a far better place then when he arrived for the second time. If you aren't ok with that after the last four seasons then you're an idiot.

Nonsense.

Everton were and are only always going one way from this summer.

The only idiot would be someone using Everton of the last few years as the acceptable benchmark.

This summer we have a tremendous opportunity to really put a massive kick up the arse of a club that for years has just been aiming to exist under a self preservation board, a paralyzed, AWOL owner.

"Be glad we'll be a bit better than the last few years"

Give me a break.

We have trigger happy owners, if we have a poor finish to the season he will be gone and they will go back to plan A of getting there man in.

I think it was from the point of view of being bashed up repeatedly as a supporter by the past few years and the toll and toil it has had over us all. Some nice gentle easier 'good times' will be the salve for our aching nerves and fevered brows.
Last day result needing, holding onto the final thread of hope, teeth grinding, mass booing, heart ache has done it's worst. Salvation, please.

Also the more time put between the present and the koeman benitez chancer era the sooner it'll have less shadow to cast over us all.

You've learned nothing from the near half a decade of relegation battles then. Some people never do I guess.......

So glad we didn’t end up with Potter, taken a decent West Ham team several strides backwards and his press conference yesterday was comical… Clearly feeling under pressure.

Indeed, as per the bold when people wanted him...

Potter spent £100m to take Brighton from 40 points under Chris Hughton to 41 in his first season and 41 again in his second, finishing 16th.

His last season at Brighton, he earned 3 more than Dyche did last season.

Never really understood the hype.

In conclusion, if Brighton fans were causing him to snap, the Park End would have him in tears before the season was out.

From the few interviews I have watched since his return , I am surprised he has called us “a big club “ i don’t remember him ever saying that in his first period here.

Let’s hope the club finally starts acting like one. It’s been a while.
