Some excellent play today but extremely poor overall in his positioning and eagerness to jump in.

Suspect his head is all over the place at this point. Treated like crap by Dyche no matter what he did.

Did fine at LB and was slagged off. Today him coming off after wave upon wave of attacks.

Why not have him on for longer when Alcaraz could have used him rather than another teams player at RW or over Young at RB who shouldnt be on the pitch?

He must feel immense pressure. I hope he can find a manager to use him as a wing back / attacking full back.
Looooool

Haha. I just think, he needs a string of games. Moyes has always had a good defensive record (with us anyway) why not give him until the end of the season? Or maybe loan him out? I genuinely think there's something there. Might be a confidence thing with him

For his own sake I think he needs to go.

He could play like Cafu (or give 6's and 7's out of 10) now and you'd still say the writings on the wall.

A £6mil sale puts us in PSR profit

Some poor decisions when Up against a good player today, simply needs more and a bit of confidence, so you keep him in that back 4 til the end of the season now at least.

I’m not having that’s he’s any worse than Young or Coleman, and makes less mistakes, but the stick he gets is unreal imo.

That's fair enough mate. Its just my opinion that's all

Hes obviously better than Coleman & Young.

Should have played much more but the issue has been Coleman/Baines using O'Brien and Moyes following suit.

O'Brien has done very well so due to injuries, Sean Dyche and certain circumstances hes got the short straw.

I'd have him over Harrison on the RW if O'Brien was RB.

No reason why hes not RB till season end to give him a chance though.

Using Young is madness.

Playing anyone out of contract at the end of the season is senseless.

A first choice RB is a must in the summer I think.

….absolutely, the most encouraging aspect of today for me was O’Brien and Branthwaite at CB.

If O’Brien continues that form and we keep Branthwaite, we clearly need a RB. Young is without doubt the best we have but it’s a low bar and replacement FBs on both flanks will improve us lots.
