Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

What nonsense. Signed Fellaini for big money for Everton. Likewise Signed Paqueta and Scamacca for West Ham

I was talking about Everton in the past rather than the huge amounts he wasted at West Ham....youre right on Fellaini of course.

Any others from his last stint?

Yes agree completely Zat, but he can move for supposedly £18 due to some sort of clause. A bargain that would transform are attacking threat. If people think Illy is good ( and I do ) this kid is off the scale, a generational talent.

Yeah i read it was £25mil but may be in euros or something else.

These clauses typically state the full fee needs to be paid by the buying club. Hopefully were now in a position to do that for these types.

Probably either go to Chelsea who just sign everyone, or skint Jim Ratcliffe s emporium of overpriced tat.

Last time i was in Iceland was told if you are convicted of a crime and given a prison sentence you have to wait months or sometimes years to serve your sentence as there are only a few hundred places, so you've got to wait until your number comes up.

Puts pinching Chicken Goujons into perspective!

He's highly rated..wonder are we interested. Any psr deal we could pull off here !

Looks a decent prospect. But there's an air of the Rodwell's about him IMO. Big unit for his age, settles in to the prem...but could peak early.

They'd also want £40mill or so IMO. We've got Timmy getting back to fitness as well

@SuperKev91

Some views on Rigg.

I wouldnt be looking at him as a first 11 signing & I'd be seeing a £25mil deal, (which you put as your upper fee) as a potential bargain.

I think Moyes can get the squad top 10 next season. Then what will be needed the following season are the Xfactor players to take the team up a notch.

Those are the hardest players to sign due to the cost and also the competition from other clubs -- if we take chances on players like Rigg then Moyes can mould them.

Alex Ferguson was buying from positions of strength of course but i think he'd be throwing the kitchen sink at Rigg.
