Whats the correlation with him being in the England squad and playing for Everton?

Pickford plays for England.
Guehi is at Palace but plays.

I think Branthwaite getting into the Englabd squad doesn’t lie with him playing for Everton. People are very aware of Jarrad. He’s better off here and his time will come to where he’s a regular fixture on defence.

If he stays, he'll need to commit for 2 years because it'll take a season to get back into Europe but Europe we will be getting back into.

Southgate picked Guehi. Palace connection. Pickford plays goals and has no real competition.

Guehi plays because he was given a go at a time where options weren’t great which actually is the same for Pickford and then he performed really well and held down his spot

Branthwaite should get called up for his performances here but it’s pretty obvious that if he was putting in performances like that in European matches and in a title race it’s more noteworthy than for a lower midtable team which we are this season

I don't even think it's about our league position. There has always been a massive bias towards certain teams when it comes to selecting the England team. The all conquering Everton team in the 80s only got put in out of desperation.
