He did well to come in a steady this ship after Dyche was on autopilot but I'm not seeing anything for the past month that would have me to bothered to give him a nice day compo package and get someone else in.

He did a great job. He was asked to come in and save us, and he did in jiffy time. Hats off.

But with that job done, a new job begins. Is he the man for a different role? More to the point, was he the Friedkins' idea of the ideal manager to take charge and build an ambitious Everton? I've never believed he was. He was parachuted in in panic. That decision worked a treat. But the parameters of the job will soon change. I'll be surprised if he is still here come July.
