One of my absolute favourites.
Blast from the past as a favourite for me.My favourite off the shelf lager, hellishly expensive ( but worth it ) on draught.
For a Belgian special it's quite on the normal side. Had a Kasteel Tripel 11% and Malheur 12% Quadrupel earlier. They definitely like the strong stuff in Belgium. So do I by the looks if it. A nickname well earned I guess. Now that's an ABV...for a beer anyhow.

Ever tried a Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel? 11%, nectar of the gods.Yeah, you can inject some St. Bernardus ABT 12 in to my veins any day. I think that's around 10%.

Pretty cheap tbh mate.
£2.47 660ml bottles in Asda off the cold shelf.
Buy 4 get cheapest free too
So 4 large bottles for less than £7.50 ...result.

In my humble opinion, no country in the whole wide world beats the Belgians for their special beers. So privileged to live about 20 km from the Belgian borderNope, Googled it because the name's not familiar and the label isn't familiar either.,.must not be too common here.
