The likes of Rotheram and Byrne have ridden a tide of Evertonian apathy for years, safe in the knowledge that if they continue to assuage LFC and Liverpool supporter concerns they'll be ok.

There isn't a chance in this world that this issue wouldn't have been given the highest level of consideration at all levels: city/city region/national if their beloved Liverpool FC had built a stadium there. But they've been shouting out "bravo" about the regeneration Everton are offering while sitting on their hands.

Haha. As you well know Dave, and I’ve clearly communicated LCC have had direct Tory governance for the last 3 years impacting every single department in the “special measures” they where placed under in 2021 after every fella had his hand in the coffers.

It will all come out in the wash, as if the mayor being removed and interviewed by Merseyside police after Operation Aloft identified significant corruption a the very highest levels on the councils, Nick Cavanagh, Elliot Lawless all involved.
All due to be concluded in the next 4 weeks after a near 6 year investigation, so let’s see eh.

I am going to ask a question out of ignorance, and I understand this is somewhat related but still largely separate from the station/platform issue, but can't Merseyrail simply add new trains to the schedule on matchdays to help with the transit issue?

I think the club need to see this and take some action themselves - if it's not sorted they could try and come up with ways to keep a few fans hanging back so we avoid mass exodus at full time: bars and beer tents or something?
